Advertising’s image of women. Watch this and get your mind blown.
This needs to stop.
I am not female but I really don’t think that matters. EVERYONE needs to see this.

Lifescouts: Bowling Badge
I totally adore bowling! I used to love going as a child, and I love it more now than I did back then! I love the sound of the pins falling down, the funny shoes you have to wear, and I love that everytime I go I bond more and more with the people I love and care for (be they family or friends) :)

Lifescouts: Video Games Badge
Since attending University I have become addicted to the Xbox. Specifically, the game BLops 2 (I do love to kill them zombies!) I was never much of a hardcore gamer, like I could play Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, y’know, typical PS1 games, and I did fairly well on the Harry Potter games for PS1,PS2 and Xbox 360, along with some other miscellaneous games along the way, but since living with five guys (well okay, it may as well be four) who decided moving the Xbox into the kitchen and giving myself a controller and teaching me the ropes, was a bad bad move. I’ve been at home for 2 weeks now and honestly, I’m going stir crazy without my zombie killing fix.

Lifescouts: Pet-Owning Badge
In my life, I’ve only ever had two kinds of pets; Dogs and Fish. And, seeing as I killed most of my fish, it’s safe to say I’ve only really owned dogs. The first dog my family and I ever owned was our little King Charles Spaniel, named Susie. She was a strange dog - she only liked our wee family of four. Literally she hated everyone else. She was such a funny and adorable little dog, and when we had to put the poor old girl down I cried for about a week. We now own a little Bischon Frise named Othello. He was bought for my 16th birthday present and ohh how I love that wee pup :) yeah he fries my head a lot (He has this obsession with knocking the kitchen bin lid off with his nose…) but he’s always so happy to see me when I’m home from uni (he even lies outside my bedroom door at night when he hears me on the phone to mummy or daddy) :)

Lifescouts: Horse Riding Badge
I have only ridden a horse once, and let me tell you; IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. I was about 9/10 when I first rode a horse. Everything was normal, y’know, trottin’ and shit, when suddenly, the motherfucker I’m riding on canters of tae be with it’s friend. And I’m sat there, holding on for dear life thinking “my god why me?!” over and over.

Lifescouts: Zoo Badge
I LOVE THE ZOO. Genuinely, words cannot describe how much I adore zoos. Yes okay, you can argue that the animals are “locked behind a cage” etc, but from the zoos I’ve been to the animals seem pretty damn happy to me :D The most recent visit I had to the zoo was with my ex boyfriend and best friend Brendan, where we walked around as he vented all his hurt angry feelings to me, and I helped him deal with that (even got some smiles and laughs outa him :D) whilst looking at all the amzing animals Belfast Zoo had to offer (it was also then that my obsession with meerkats began)

Lifescouts: Picnic Badge
Picnics have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! Whenever the weather got good, every Saturday had a family picnic at some point in the day. This tradition then spilled into my teenage years, right up until this year! I love eating alfresco; whether it’s sitting on the beach, listening to the waves crash over one another as you eat a load of ice cream or whether it’s sitting in your local park, lounging in the sun, eating sandwiches and laughing with your friends, picnics are always a good idea :)

Lifescouts: Sunrise Badge
I’ve seen quite a few sunrises’ in my time (haha I sound so old!) and the each stand out in my head, as they are linked with an amazing memory - varying from walking home whilst the sun is rising, drunkenly singing and dancing with my best friend, to watching the sun rise with a boyfriend I loved very much and to staying up all night watching films and having fun with my new boyfriend. Each and every one of those sunrises will stay with me for a long time, if not until the end of my time.
